Bee Mine!

12:59:00

Fancy beeing inspired?! The bee motive, and creepy crawlies of all kinds are always in style. Gucci started it last season, and now bees are everywhere. Printed on tops, embroidered onto denim, you name it, bees are a buzzing. As much as I love them, I don’t particularly care for them on my clothes; its all a bit bugs life for me. However accessories? That’s another ball game.

I’ve had the iconic Alex Monroe Bee necklace for years; and I still wear it most days. It’s delicate, yet bold, and goes with everything. Its one of those items that will never date; and will constantly be in my jewellery box for evermore.

Zara have some incredibly decorative bug pieces, which will inject a bit of fun into your look!

I love this little bucket bag- its a cute size, and I heart the striking silver detail and chain strap. Its velvet too; so you are showcasing two hot trends in one here! Also on my hit list is this mustard bag.

The boxy shape is great for fitting in all your bits and bats in a compact way, plus the embellished detail is delightful.

Be still my beating heart. These ankle boots are simply STUNNING. I absolutely adore them- what a statement pair of stamps! The beading detail is so intricate, and the colours look fabulously eye-catching against the black.

These velvet slippers are def an acquired taste, but I think the rich burgundy colour would look grand with a great fitting pair of skinny jeans and a black chunky knit.

This metallic clutch bag from Skinny Dip is beyond gorgeous; a real showstopper. It is little black dress season after all, and a bold clutch bag to make your outfit pop is the only accessory needed. The detail is impressive on this too- I love the honeycomb and the 3D bedazzled bees!

Lastly, a good watch is an essential item, and I’m totally in love with this rose gold beauty from none other than Olivia Burton. The sumptuous rose gold face, the embossed bee motif, coupled with the flattering grey strap, makes it a winner in my book. Total wrist swag!
