Rapid Lash Review- Does it Work?

Eyelashes. Women have a long-standing love affair with their peepers, and lashes are like a picture frame on a great selfie. I decided to get eyelash extensions about 18 months ago. And they were amazing. I got them done every two weeks, and I had the loveliest, flutteriest lashes ever- my therapist was a very talented lady. I adored the fact it took me all of two minutes to get ready in the mornings, as my eyes were already ‘done’- especially as I don’t really wear liner or eye shadow. They were a massive convenience and I championed them on a daily basis.

However, after having them reapplied for almost two years, I started to become concerned that perhaps I needed a break from all the glue and the constant application. So, I patiently waited for the old lashes to drop out. And I must confess, I yanked a few out towards the end, which wasn’t my finest hour. Ouch.

My lashes were actually in alright condition afterward, but they were obviously weaker and needed some TLC. So I purchased RapidLash. This is widely regarded as the best growth serum on the market, so I decided to take the plunge.

Its not cheap; £42 to be exact. Which is a bit of a 'whack up the wallet' as my Dad would say. However, it promises great results within 30 days. Rapid lash is clinically proven, and paraben-free, so it’s safe to use. I always worry about the side effects of certain products that contain acids, but this is sold worldwide in Boots so that should relax any self-confessed hypochondriac like myself.

It comes in sleek mascara-like tube, and looks rather like eyeliner when you remove the screw cap lid. You coincidently apply it like a liner too-incredibly simply.  Just swipe the serum-like substance across the lash line before bed after you have washed your face. I have to confess I don’t use it on the lower lash line as I think that’s a little near the tear duct. Just stick with top in my humble opinion.

I have only been using this for two weeks, but I’m genuinely astounded by the results. My lashes have grown ridiculous amounts; they look fuller and subtly thicker. They are in heaps better condition and look highly dramatic with mascara (L’Oreal False Lash Sculpt in case you are wondering.)

I would absolutely recommend using this if your lashes need a bit of help- its great for bulking up thinner hairs and mainly, a great rehab-style treatment for lashes that are mourning extensions. Its such an easy process to fit into your skincare routine as it takes all of 20 seconds. Think of it as conditioner, but for your lashes!
