What
I love the most about London, is there’s always somewhere new that everyone is
talking about. Id heard amazing things about Thomas's, or rather, its nickname-
known affectionately to some as the Burberry Café. Named after the founder of
the label, Thomas Burberry, this delightful spot just off the flagship Regent Street
store is well worth a visit for any designer loving gal. It’s been open for
just over a year now, and is quite the fashion hot spot.
The
décor is very art deco inspired; lots of white, dark beams, fresh flowers,
decadent chandeliers and exquisite marble floors. It just oozes style and keeps
in with the signature sleek modern look that epitomises the Burberry brand. There’s
even a section near the entrance where they offer a Burberry monogramming
service! A great gift for someone if you wanted to treat them.
On
to the most important part- the grub. It’s very much traditional English food
that is offered- everything from afternoon tea, to lobster and chips, right
through to champagne and oysters. Fabulous dahhhhling!
I
had breakfast here, and I choose the rather predictable (and delicious) avocado on toast with a
poached egg, plus a fresh pot of tea. It was beyond delicious. Especially
decked out on the most fashionable crockery ever!
