Although florals are theoretically a
springtime trend, I find myself reaching for them all year round. In the colder
months I opt for winter florals, in dark, gothic colours, and in the summer, I
like bright, fresh shades. I picked this dress up in Zara about a month ago,
and instantly fell in love with it. I adore the lace overlay, it gives the
dress such a feminine feel, and the shape is so flattering- it nips in at the
waist and flares out at the hip- perfect for my curvy shape. It has a slip
underneath that stops at the knee, so you are also given that lovely graduated
hem when you wear it.
I wore it with my simple nude chain bag from H and M, and strappy Primark sandals. I didn’t want anything too 'out there' accessory wise, as I didn’t want to retract from the dress. Annoyingly I can’t find the link to the dress, but it is definitely in store at the moment. I did however; find the link to the midi skirt with the same design, which would look great with a simple camisole tucked in.
