45 Jermyn St - Breakfast Review

08:41:00

I love a good breakfast in London. There’s something so wonderful about meeting a friend or colleague, in the heart of the capital, for great food and great gossip!
I’m very lucky in my job; I am able to visit some fabulous places for brekkie, and this latest offering may just be my current favourite.
Step up 45 Jermyn St, a beautiful new restaurant made by the lovey people at Fortnum and Mason. It’s a stone throws walk from Green Park station.
The first thing that struck me is the colour scheme. Sounds a bit vacuous, but the pastel mint walls, teamed with the terracotta upholstery look visually stunning.
I ordered an obligatory latte (served in matching pastel crockery) and settled down to consult the breakfast menu. There’s pancakes, eggs, crumpets, kippers- you name it. I went for the very traditional Eggs Royale.
The food came quickly and tasted divine- Eggs Royale was the perfect choice;  they were most generous with the hollandaise sauce! The eggs were  well cooked and fabulously presented.  The staff were totally helpful and very attentive.

If you are looking for a delightful place to have your eggs in the morning, give it a go!
