February Favourites

Can you believe it is nearly March?! Where has this year gone seriously… anyway! Another month, another batch of products used that need to be replaced. Here is a collection of things I’ve been totally loving this month:

NO7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream - I ran out of my Origins this month so needed a suitable alternative. Step up this little beauty. It’s a real thirst-quenching formula; super light on the skin, absorbs quickly, but still feels rich. The packaging is a bit basic (and no, the cream is not mint green as the tub suggests) but in all, a great, inexpensive moisturiser I will be using again.

Rosie Cream Blush in  English Rose Flush- I wrote a post on this last week- love the stuff. A great, natural colour and superb quality. Read my full review here.

Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It Hair Styler -This stuff is literally genius. I hate blow-drying my hair as I try to keep the heat off it. This cream is the BEST invention- you simply wash and condition your hair, then apply this all over your wet tresses,  tie up and go about your sweet way. Your hair dries almost like you have blow-dried it. A great time saver; I cant live without this now!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir- I’ve used this ever since VB mentioned she loved it (shallow- me? Never) it’s basically a beauty mist, and the main ingredient is grapes. It has a really pungent, almost medicinal smell. I use it as a toner after I’ve washed my face. It instantly dries and makes my skin SO SOFT and refreshed.

L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Carbon Black-I’ve always used this mascara and I always will. It has the best brush ever- a plastic head with loads of bristles that always manages to coat those hard-to-reach lashes. It lasts all day and doesn’t smudge.

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer- I actually don’t use this just for under the eyes; I also place it over my face if I get a few pesky zits. It’s a great creamy formula that is so blendable, and the coverage isn’t half bad either. I love the sponge end- it makes it very quick and easy to apply.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Liner- I find Maybelline lip liners just as good as MAC. Their pencils are really strong, don’t break easily and have a great colour payoff.

Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée Souffle Body Creme -I challenge every living person to not ADORE the smell of this. It really is the most incredible aroma I have ever smelt on a body product. Obviously the packaging is beautiful and would look chic in any bathroom, but the cream itself just leaves your skin smelling so scrumptious. I guarantee you would almost want to give your arm a quick lick! Skin feels like silk after- and doesn’t take too long to absorb. It is a bit pricey, but TOTALLY worth every penny.
